Local Sunset Cliffs Summer Camp

Rooted in connection, confidence, and community—right here in Sunset Cliffs.

Our summer camp is more than just fun in the sun. Every activity is thoughtfully designed by a BCBA and Occupational Therapist to help children build essential life and social skills in a supportive, playful environment. Campers will leave with more than memories—they’ll gain tools to thrive in everyday life.

July 14-18 & July 28-Aug 1

Ages 7-11

 Social + Friendship Skills

  • Building and maintaining friendships

  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving

  • Practicing kindness, patience, and cooperation

  • Giving and receiving compliments

  • Teamwork through games and group projects

Life Skills + Independence

  • Preparing their own snacks and lunches

  • Organizing personal belongings

  • Cleaning up after meals

  • Taking care of their space (laundry, tidying, camp jobs)

  • Budgeting and decision-making with our camp store system

Confidence + Self-Expression

  • Earning responsibility through daily jobs

  • Trying new activities and foods

  • Sharing talents and creativity in a judgment-free space

  • Reflecting on kindness and bravery in daily bracelet circles

  • Taking pride in small successes and effort

Problem-Solving + Resilience

  • Working through challenges as a team

  • Completing daily obstacle courses and scavenger hunts

  • Making mistakes and learning from them

  • Practicing leadership and sportsmanship

Local Adventures + Outdoor Learning

Our camp is held in a beautiful home with a big backyard near Sunset Cliffs—perfect for outdoor play and beach-inspired exploration. Field days and beach walks bring nature into the experience and help kids connect with their local environment.

  • Camp Store Assistant

  • Attendance + Supply Organizer

 

Positive Behavior Reinforcement

Campers earn coins for showing kindness, effort, honesty, and responsibility. They can redeem them at the camp store for fun prizes or privileges—building budgeting and delayed gratification skills along the way.

Our camp is a place to grow, connect, and have a blast—all in your own neighborhood.
